| 27 January 2010 The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, and his counterparts from the Czech Republic, Jan Kohout, and Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, open the High Level Seminar held in Viana Palace on “The Future of the Eastern Partnership: Challenges and Opportunities”. The seminar, which has been jointly organised by the three countries, gathers together high-ranking representatives from the European Union Member States, the European Commission , the European Council, and the six neighbouring Eastern Partnership States (Ukraine, Moldovia, Byelorussia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan) as well as from Russia, Turkey and the United States as observers. Also attending are representatives from the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank and various European think tanks.
