| 10 December 2009 On December 9 and 10 a working meeting of the representatives of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus, State Border Security Service of the Republic of Latvia and International Organization for Migration took place in Minsk. The participants of the meeting visited a crime laboratory and accommodation center for refugee seekers at the national airport Minsk. Besides, the parties discussed the issues and exchanged opinions on implementation of the program of voluntary return of migrants. On December 11 the representatives of the Latvian border guards services inspected the infrastructure of the Lid border guard unit and visited the temporary detention center and international border crossing point Benyakoni.
