| A delegation of the European Commission led by Deputy Director General of the European Commission’s Directorate General for External Relations Hugues Mingarelli is staying in Minsk on a working visit on November 3-5.
The visit takes place as part of the agreements reached during meetings of Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov with Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, and the EU triumvirate in Luxembourg on October 13. While in Minsk the European Commission delegation will hold meetings with representatives of the Belarus President Administration, the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the negotiations the parties are supposed to discuss prospects of future cooperation between Belarus and the European Commission taking into account decisions taken by ministers of foreign affairs of European Union member-states in Luxembourg on October 13.
