Central role of the State Committee for Nationalities and Religion of Ukraine in migration area

On 21 November 2007, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, adopted a new Resolution (N 1347) empowering the State Committee for Nationalities and Religion with the central role in the migration field though limited to those set by the refugee legislation in Ukraine. The amendment reads

"The State Committee for Nationalities and Religion is a specially authorised central executive authority in the filed of migration within the framework defined by the refugee legislation".

The current resolution amends the Resolution (N201) of 14 February 2007, the Statute of the State Committee for Nationalities and Religion of Ukraine (SCNR).
