| 4 June 2007 IOM’s International Migration Law and Legal Affairs Department (IML), and IOM Headquarters in Geneva organise training on the Essentials of Migration Management (EMM) for Government of Ukraine officials. During the four-day training, Government of Ukraine representatives will have a unique opportunity to discuss international migration law, development of migration legislation, passports and visa systems, management of operational data, as well as issues of return migration and determination of migrant status and appeals systems. A one-day “training of trainers” will follow for future instructors in migration management. Professional trainers from IML and IOM Moscow conduct the interactive course.
