| 17 March 2007 An IOM training seminar on basics of illegal migration management will commence on 19 March in Minsk. Experts in the field of illegal migration management of the State Border Guard Committee and the Ministry of Interior will take part in it. During the four days the participants will exchange their experience in using of an IOM handbook on “Basics of Illegal Migration Management”. In the course of practical training each specialist will have opportunity to learn basic sections of the handbook. As per the agenda the first day of training will be dedicated to studying the conceptual model of migration management. Then the participants will be offered to learn system of the border management, evaluate the degree of migration influence on the national security. A one-day seminar for instructors in the field of migration management is scheduled on 23 March.
